Chocolate cake


*Cake ingredients:

°2 c all-purpose flour
°2 c granulated sugar
°3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
°2 t baking powder
°1 1/2 t of baking soda
° t of salt
°1 c of milk
°1/2 c vegetable oil
°2 eggs
°2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
°1 cup hot water
°Ingredients:
°1 c unsalted butter, softened
°3 1/2 c of powdered sugar
°1/2 c of unsweetened cocoa powder
°1/2 c of milk
°2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
°a pinch of salt

*Directions:

Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease two 9-inch round bowls with flour.
In  mixing bowl, whisking the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, also salt.
In  separate mixing bowl, whisking the buttermilk, vegetable oil, eggs, also vanilla extract.
Adding wet ingredients to dry ingredients and mix until well combined
Gradually add the hot water to the mixture and mix until well combined
Pour the mixture evenly into the prepared cake pans.
Bake for 35 minutes
We take the cake out of the oven and let it cool in the pans for 10 minutes.
Remove cakes from pans and leave to cool completely on wire racks.
To prepare the frosting, beat the soft butter with an electric mixer until creamy.
Gradually adding powdered sugar, cocoa powder, milk, vanilla extract, & salt to the butter, beating until well mixed and smooth.
Freezing cake once it is completely cold.
